Who Dat!!

Well I might have missed the big game, and I was too late to make the parade...but I am here in time for the Saints Super Bowl celebration and Samuel and Vera told me that the party is still going on!! I might only be three weeks, and I know I am a Texan but I have Louisiana in my blood. WHO DAT and Geaux Saints!! Thanks Aunt Syd for my precious outfit :))

The Frickenschmidt boys come to visit

Well three VERY cute and eligible bachelors came to meet me the other day. My mom told me that all three are wonderful and I could marry any of them. Jake showed great poise, Gage wanted to hold me a lot (despite the fact that I pooped on him) and Powell might be the youngest but he kept talking to me the whole time; 'baby, baby' were his favorite words! McCullough Frickenschmidt is quite long...but I think it could be worth it!!

2 Weeks Old

As you can see I am starting to get a little bigger!! I LOVE my hands and want them by my face ALL the time. I am even holding my pacifier and have been able to take it out of my mouth a few times -- now only if I could put it back in :) see you soon... McCullough

Watch Me Grow

We are hoping to post monthly pics of McCullough so everyone can watch her grow!! As you can see she was so little that she kept sliding down the chair so we had to wrap her up and prop her up! What a fun time we are having :)

McCullough's first snowfall

McCullough came home from the hospital on Monday afternoon, and Tuesday we woke up to snow. It actually snowed most of the day and started sticking by noon. Vera, though only 5 months, is a pro with snow - this was her third time thanks to Baton Rouge's crazy weather!!

McCullough and Vera's first play date

Vera and McCullough had their first official photo shoot and play date. Syd and I dressed the girls up in their hospital day gowns from Miss Katie and took TONS of pictures. The photo shoot started out great. Then Vera realized the object next to her was her cousin and not just a baby doll. As you can see Vera was all ready to play but McCullough wasn't quite sure about it. McCullough even had to hold her own their for a minute -- but it all turned out great and they ended up holding hands (thanks to Syd and me). The last picture shows the actual size difference between the two first cousins who are exactly 5 months apart!! Many more play dates to come...the next one will be at the beach this summer!!

Sweet McCullough is coming HOME!!!

Thanks to Miss Katie Reiman, McCullough got to come home in the most beautiful day gown. The bonnet she is wearing is a hankerchief purchased by her great grandmother Alma Kupp in Switzerland. McCullough's Nana sewed the bonnet together for her big day, and one day we will untie the string so she can carried the hankerchief on her wedding day What a sentimental outfit for a very special day.
