Summer Time Fun at the Pool!!!

Well you are starting to see a pattern, we spend a lot of time in the water and even more time with the Trimbles!!! The girls had the BEST time at the pool yesterday, but I think the dads enjoyed it even more!! Enjoy the pics and two short videos!

It's such a shame she doesn't like the camera...ha!!

Today we had lunch with some great BR friends, Lindley and Drew Dodson and their daughter Shaw, as well as our buddies the Trimbles...you know margaret :) McCullough waited patiently for her friends to arrive!

Shaw was THRILLED to see McCullough and Margaret...

McCullough warmed up to the idea of a new buddy...

Lindley, Anna and I all went to EHS back in the day and are now living in Austin!! It is SUCH a blessing having them here, I just wish we saw each other more. Lindley is a pediatrician which is SO nice to have around when you are a first time (clueless) parent like me!!!



The husbands were with us...but as you can tell the camera was focused on the three little girls!!! Sorry guys...will catch you next time!!

Happy Birthday Uncle LJ (Spencer)

McCullough was SO excited about Uncle Spencer's birthday that she wanted to be a part of the gift :))) We hope it made his birthday even better when he saw this little smiling face~~~

Happy 4th of July!!!

I love the Fourth of July(even if it is always anti-climatic )-- its something about USA, the Flag, patriotic songs and fireworks that just puts me in a great mood. SO, this year I thought we needed a flag on the house for McCullough's first 4th. Poor child...I dress her up and take her outside for pics, all while she is quite fussy which is unusual. Come to find out later, the squirt had 100.8!! This was the first time she had even run a fever and wouldn't you know the Dr. office was closed. No wonder she was unhappy. Thanks to Motrin and a three hour nap, she was able to rally for the party....sound familiar :)))

Fun Times with Big A and Nana

McCullough is ALWAYS all smiles when Nana shows up... they were working on rolling over again as you will see in some of the pictures!!

Well well well...look who showed up at the door... BIG A (that's what he wants to be called, I kind of like it)
And next thing we know this little girl who RARELY snuggles, was happy as could be snuggling with Austin.

Pool Party!!!

Well the heat is getting pretty intense and the days are getting long (not to mention we are running out of activities for a four month old) so Anna and I decided it was time for a pool party!!! As you can see from the first pic, McCullough wasn't quite sure what to think...

But it didn't take long for her to know she LOVED it...

Margaret: Hey McCullough, so glad you came to my party...

McCullough: Thanks, me too...I was getting kind of bored with my mom

Margaret: So McCullough, what do you think about Judge Kagan, have you been following the story?

McCullough: No, they haven't shown that on SportsCenter... where do you think LeBron is going...that's what I want to know!

Our pool party ended like all should...rolling around in the buff on their towels!! They sure look happy to me!!

Have I told you how THANKFUL we are that the Trimbles live around the corner!!!! I can't wait til these girls are selling lemonade to all the neighbors! Where can we find a banjo? (BAJ)
