Baton Rouge Baby Shower

Over Thanksgiving, my sweet friends threw a baby shower for little Miss Moss!!! It was so much fun to see all my friends and family that I rarely get to see anymore. All the hostesses did a great job and were so kind to get us the BOB jogging stroller!! Guess this means I have to start jogging or at least walking fast :) And it was great to have almost all of the women from the Polito side of my family in one room at one time. How great that there are now four generations of Politos!!

It was extra special to have three very dear women in my life all in the same room. Mrs. 'B', Mrs. Bateman and Grammy (Mrs. Allen) are so special to me, my family and my sweet dad!!! I was honored to have them there with me.

Thanksgiving at Norwood

We had a wonderful time at Thanksgiving with all of our extended family!! It was so much fun to have my cousins Katie, Jennifer and Blaise with us, not to mention the newest and sweetest addition of our family VERA!!! What a doll!!! Everything was wonderful just wish we could do it more often.

A New Car - A Mom Car!!

Well...the morning after we found out we were having a girl Ben decided it was time to for me to get a new car. Now don't be fooled, we have been searching for about 18 months for a car we both liked and one that would work for a family one day, but I didn't expect him to buy it the very next day. So... now I am sporting a Toyota Highlander that is so far beyond my current technological capabilities that my phone is too outdated to even sync with the Blue Tooth.

For those wanting one last pic of the Maxima, I thought I would give a shout out to the great 12 years and 150,000 miles we shared!! Parting with the maxima was so hard that we actually didn't do (but only because their offer was $1000 for that great car- what an insult). We thought we could find a better use for it on our own.

Our family is about to get bigger!!!

Well... it seems that once you find out you are having a child, the next thing to do is start a BLOG. So, here I am, attempting to do just that. Ben and I found out Monday night that we are having a little GIRL!!! She is due March 1st and we are so ready for her to be here!! The last 20 weeks have been a little rough...lots of sickness and migraines, but the day we felt that first little kick and saw the sonogram, I already decided I would love more kids :) Now ask me when this little girl is 3 months old and my answer might be different. BUT...as of now...we are thrilled that the Lord has blessed us with the opportunity to be parents and we look forward to the day when we finally meet our little girl!!!
